We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Executive to join our team at Elevance Health. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for facilitating sales, enrollment, retention, and territory management for federal agencies within your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Service: Manage assigned accounts, providing superior quality of services related to sale, enrollment, and other consultative services.
- Open Enrollment: Conduct Open Enrollment presentations and manage the Open Enrollment process, actively influencing federal employees to enroll in our products.
- Territory Management: Produce a comprehensive annual business and territory plan to outline year-round and Open Season activities that promote year-round and Open Season enrollment growth.
- Relationship Building: Develop effective and long-lasting relationships with federal agencies to retain and increase growth opportunities.
- Customer Support: Respond to inquiries from members and HR staff within the various federal agencies.
- Market Research: Remain informed of the various FEHB competitor products and participate in various training programs to enhance selling and servicing abilities.
- Event Planning: Responsible for Open Season logistics, including scheduling of health fairs and temporary staff, coordinating the delivery, set up of materials, and ordering inventory to support events.
- Education: Requires an AA/AS/BA/BS in Sales/Marketing or experience in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of sales/service experience.
- Licensure: Health and Life sales license is required to be obtained and appointed within 90 days of hire.
- Healthcare Industry Experience: Prior experience in the healthcare benefit industry is preferred.
- Field Sales Experience: Prior experience in a field sales role is preferred.
- Self-Starter: Individuals who are self-starters, forward thinking, and have strong planning and organizational skills are highly preferred.
- Reliable Transportation: Reliable transportation is highly preferred to conduct in-person visits within the assigned territory.
- Technical Skills: Experience utilizing Salesforce CRM system and MS Office products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook) is highly preferred.
The salary range for this position is $58,696 to $88,044. In addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution.
