Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Atlantic Veterinary Internal Medicine & Oncology in Columbia, MD. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our team of internal medicine and medical oncology specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our Internists to provide excellent patient care and client service.
  • Participate in a team environment, working closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform safe and low-stress patient handling, including obtaining blood samples, running lab work, and administering medications and treatments.
  • Assist with appointments, client education, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for staff members and clients.
  • Participate in anesthetic and endoscopy procedures, and assist with other medical procedures as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2-3 years of veterinary experience preferred.
  • Veterinary Technician Certification preferred.
