Position Overview:
The Heartland Veterinary Partners LLC is seeking a dedicated Animal Care Technician to provide essential support for our furry patients. This role involves caring for animals during their stay for grooming and boarding, as well as assisting veterinary technicians with various responsibilities.

Primary Duties:
  • Check in animals and accurately document client requests
  • Monitor the condition and behavior of animals
  • Exercise animals for physical activity and bathroom needs
  • Ensure animals are clean and return with all personal belongings
  • Sanitize and upkeep kennels, cages, runs, and stalls
  • Assist with medication delivery under guidance
  • Provide bathing and grooming services for pets
  • Conduct general cleaning tasks throughout the facility
Qualifications:
  • Availability for full-time hours
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • Prior experience in a veterinary setting is preferred
  • Capability to lift animals weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Adhere to OSHA safety protocols
