Position Overview:

The Operations Executive will be responsible for overseeing the daily functions and strategic direction of the manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Formulate and implement an operational and manufacturing strategy to drive sustainable growth.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with the strategic planning team to ensure site objectives are in sync with broader company goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement through active employee participation and engagement.
  • Environmental, Health, and Safety: Uphold high standards of EH&S by managing compliance and promoting safe practices.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure smooth material flow across all operational functions including manufacturing and logistics.
  • Customer Focus: Cultivate a responsive and urgent approach to customer needs.
  • Employee Engagement: Promote a collaborative management style and maintain a strong presence on the production floor.
  • Performance Management: Drive operational performance to meet established targets and objectives.
  • Financial Collaboration: Work with finance to develop and manage annual operational budgets.
  • Capacity Planning: Oversee capacity plans to support current and future business needs.
  • Team Development: Mentor and coach team members to enhance leadership capabilities.
  • Quality Assurance: Champion quality initiatives to minimize non-conformances and enhance productivity.
  • Process Optimization: Develop standardized procedures to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Maintenance Strategy: Create a preventive maintenance plan to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other sites to optimize customer solutions.
  • Project Leadership: Lead project teams to implement business improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years in manufacturing and operations management.
  • Strong background in precision machining and contract manufacturing.
  • Proficient in manufacturing finance, including P&L management.
  • Proven change agent with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent analytical skills to address complex challenges.
  • Innovative thinker with a proactive approach.
  • Experienced in Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to motivate and lead teams effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • Lean or Six Sigma certification.
  • Familiarity with EPICOR ERP systems.
