Job Title: Assistant Director: Live EducationJob Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Director: Live Education. This role will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to support RSNA Education goals, including oversight of the development and implementation of live education activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop market research and analysis to provide recommendations for the expansion of RSNA Spotlight Courses and to identify opportunities for growth in various regions of the world.
  • Research innovative course formats, monitor changes in healthcare delivery, develop and conduct needs assessments, evaluate existing educational offerings, and make recommendations that will improve courses.
  • Oversee implementation of RSNA Spotlight Courses held in all regions of the world, manage course goals and budgets, direct execution, create go-to-market strategy for new courses, and objectively evaluate completed courses.
  • Direct vendor selection process and oversee all partnerships related to Spotlight courses, work closely with Meetings and Program Services departments to organize and execute courses.
  • Work closely with Director: Education in developing the strategy for growth of various educational content, including but not limited to, the Spotlight Courses, Joint Symposia, and webinar series.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Corporate Relations, Membership, Meetings, Subscriptions, Programs, and other RSNA departments to maximize the impact of global live education programs.
  • Manage co-sponsorship activities with other international organizations and meetings, assist in leadership coordination and development of speakers, programs, and promotion.
  • Develop and monitor RSNA budgets related to all live education activities.
  • Provide supervision and leadership for team members, serve as hiring manager when necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 7 or more years of experience in educational programming/project planning, preferably in healthcare.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of effective best practices and national trends in continuing medical education.
  • Strong decision-making, organizational, and interpersonal proficiency, including relationship development and management of internal and external relationships.
  • Demonstrated project management skills along with the ability to design educational activities that incorporate collaboration of multiple stakeholders and cross-functional work teams.
  • Experience with meeting/event planning and management.
  • Experience with market research and planning for decision making.
  • Experience with financial modeling and budgeting.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including peers, direct reports, senior leadership, physician volunteers, and vendors.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of staff, physicians, management, executives, and a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment.
