Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Golf Cart Attendant to join our team at Homestead Golf Club. As a key member of our outside service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our members and guests, ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Player Assistance: Welcome golfers, assist with equipment, provide carts, and offer support as needed.
  • Golf Cart Maintenance: Keep carts clean, charged, and ready for players; help with loading clubs.
  • Facility Upkeep: Maintain order in practice areas, putting greens, and driving range.
  • Course Guidance: Provide players with course information, rules, and special instructions.
  • Event Support: Assist in setting up tournaments and events, arranging equipment and signage.
  • Play Pace Monitoring: Ensure a smooth pace on the course, assisting groups as needed.
  • Guest Inquiries: Handle guest questions professionally, providing details on services and tee times.
  • Cleanliness Maintenance: Keep outside service areas tidy and organized, including clubhouse entrances.
  • Special Requests: Fulfill player requests like club cleaning or rentals.
  • Safety Promotion: Adhere to safety guidelines, prioritizing the well-being of players and staff.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the golf course team for smooth operations.
  • Training Attendance: Engage in training sessions to stay informed on procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Outstanding Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to members and guests.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Communicate clearly and professionally with players and staff.
  • Familiarity with Golf Etiquette: Understand and adhere to golf etiquette rules.
  • Ability to Lift Heavy Equipment: Lift and carry equipment as needed.
  • Comfort Working Outdoors: Work comfortably in various weather conditions.
  • Attention to Detail and Multitasking Abilities: Manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail.
Physical Demands:
  • Standing, Walking, and Bending: Stand, walk, and bend for long periods.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Endurance for Outdoor Work: Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Working Environment:

Primarily outdoor work with exposure to various weather conditions and frequent interaction with golfers and staff.
