We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Pro Shop Attendant to join our team at Homestead Resort. As the first point of contact for golfers visiting our course, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations within the pro shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for golf, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet customers warmly and provide information about the golf course, facilities, and services offered.

Assist golfers with booking tee times, rentals (clubs, carts, etc.), and purchases of golf merchandise.

Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pro shop, including merchandise displays and inventory management.

Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner.

Provide basic knowledge of golf equipment and accessories to assist customers in making informed decisions.

Monitor pace of play and coordinate with golf course staff to ensure smooth flow of play.

Assist in coordinating tournaments, outings, and special events as needed.

Uphold golf course policies and procedures, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or hospitality setting.

Passion for golf and familiarity with golf equipment and terminology.

Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and staff.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed.

Cash handling experience and basic computer proficiency.
