About the Role

The Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for reviewing loan applications, preparing loan documents, and ensuring timely disbursement of loans to UW Credit Union members. If you have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Review core system to ensure loan booking was completed in full, manually completing any portion of the booking process that did not occur due to errors in the loan application.
  • Manage timely receipt of loan documentation through fax, email, mail, DocuSign, and interoffice mail, reviewing for accuracy and following up as needed with third-party vendors, retail staff, or members.
  • Ensure compliance with loan and deposit regulations.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to one year experience in a professional office setting, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Lending experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
