Job Summary:

The Human Resources Manager serves as a key member of the USD leadership team, reporting directly to the General Manager. This role is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business outcomes, improve employee engagement, and enhance organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead organizational programs related to talent development and succession planning.
  • Design and execute employee engagement activities to recognize and reward individual and team achievements.
  • Provide coaching and training for managers, supervisors, and production leads on HR-related topics, including interviewing, performance management, and legal compliance.
  • Administer compensation programs, including base pay and quarterly cash bonuses, ensuring they are competitive and equitable.
  • Oversee full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce.
  • Process payroll, maintain employee files, and ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws.
  • Develop and implement HR metrics to track key performance indicators, such as headcount and turnover.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 6-10 years of HR management experience, including leadership team experience and people management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop rapport, inspire trust, and bring problems to resolution in the interest of both employees and the business.
  • Ability to effectively balance daily HR activities with strategic advice and counsel to the leadership team.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • High level of business acumen, with the ability to understand and communicate organizational metrics and their impact on business outcomes.
