Job Overview:

The Field Canvasser/Recall Specialist is tasked with efficiently overseeing a designated territory to ensure that assigned cases related to Takata airbag recalls or other critical initiatives from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) are successfully completed or resolved for targeted vehicles within their area.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct field canvassing, including door-to-door visits and face-to-face interactions at specified locations to finalize cases with necessary documentation.
  • Utilize the MarketSource Dashboard to monitor case assignments and closures.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on designated initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding available incentives, benefits, and programs related to the initiatives.
  • Document, upload, and record all information according to specific requirements.
  • Employ mapping and route optimization tools to enhance productivity.
  • Educate consumers on the significance of recalls and initiatives.
  • Address consumer hesitance and resistance to successfully close cases.
  • Build and maintain relationships with assigned businesses in targeted markets and collaborate with field team members.
  • Perform investigative work to verify the accuracy of outcomes reported from calls.
  • Utilize databases and additional resources to gather supporting documentation that substantiates or updates outcomes.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to confirm phone numbers and/or arrange appointments for the field team.
  • Document research results in the designated database as instructed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Commitment to adhere to activity and reporting standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer interactions, whether in person, via phone, text, or email.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
  • Capacity to analyze and utilize key information to formulate territory action plans that meet business objectives.
  • Ability to make independent decisions in the field that positively influence business outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to conduct presentations to both small and large groups.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule, including weekends and evenings.
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is preferred.

Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in the industry.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary to perform essential functions within the assigned geographic area.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to frequently enter and exit a vehicle.
  • Regularly ascend and descend stairs.
  • Frequently lift objects weighing up to twenty pounds.
  • Consistently work in outdoor weather conditions.
