Lead Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description

Beebe Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Clinical Registered Nurse (RN) to provide functional leadership of clinical staff and clinical operations in our vibrant coastal community.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides functional leadership of clinical staff and clinical operations.
  • Delegates elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and the State of Delaware Board of Nursing Rules and Regulations.
  • Acts as a preceptor and mentor for other licensed and unlicensed clinical team members.
  • Participates in clinical team member evaluations and disciplines.
  • Promotes quality, safety, and improvement by participating in error reporting and review, system tracers, audits, and assigned or volunteer committees.
  • Recognizes unit needs and is a liaison between the clinical staff and leadership to assist in development and maintenance of office specific policies, procedures, and/or protocols that will promote safety and encourage efficient workflows.
  • Communicates and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and other key stakeholders in the conduct of nursing and other clinical support staff practice.
  • Utilizes appropriate resources to plan, provide, and sustain evidence-based nursing services that are safe, effective, and fiscally responsible.
  • Advocates for clients.
  • Actively assists others and accepts additional duties or assignments.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrates appropriate clinical skills and technical competence in providing client care.
  • Demonstrates appropriate clinical judgment.
  • Experience In Ambulatory Care.
  • Clear Communication Skills Both Written and Verbal.
  • Adheres to HIPPA and confidentiality policies regarding PHI.
  • Able To Withstand Crisis Situations.
  • Professional Customer Service skills.
  • Knowledge And Experience with Electronic Health Records.
Education and Credentials:
  • RN Diploma, BSN, RN, or MSN, RN.
  • RN - Registered Nurse license from the state of Delaware or Compact State.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an RN in the area of interest.
