Clinical Nurse Leader

Beebe Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Clinical Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership and support to our clinical staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of excellence and safety.
Responsibilities- Provide functional leadership to clinical staff and operations, ensuring compliance with facility and department policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Delegate elements of care to appropriate healthcare workers, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and State of Delaware Board of Nursing Rules and Regulations.
- Act as a preceptor and mentor for licensed and unlicensed clinical team members, ensuring timely completion of education and competencies.
- Participate in clinical team member evaluations and disciplines, promoting a culture of accountability and professionalism.
- Promote quality, safety, and improvement by participating in error reporting and review, system tracers, audits, and assigned or volunteer committees.
- Recognize unit needs and serve as a liaison between clinical staff and leadership to develop and maintain office-specific policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to ensure effective nursing and clinical support staff practice.
- Utilize resources to plan, provide, and sustain evidence-based nursing services that are safe, effective, and fiscally responsible.
- Advocate for clients and actively assist others, accepting additional duties or assignments as needed.
- Model Beebe Healthcare's mission, vision, and values, practicing in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles.
- Demonstrate appropriate clinical skills and technical competence in providing client care.
- Demonstrate appropriate clinical judgment.
- Experience in Ambulatory Care.
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality policies regarding PHI.
- Able to withstand crisis situations.
- Professional customer service skills.
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Health Records.
- RN Diploma, BSN, RN, or MSN, RN.
- RN - Registered Nurse license from the state of Delaware or Compact State.
- BLS - Basic Life Support (American Heart Association).
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an RN in the area of interest.
- One on-call weekend per rotation.
- (3) Clinical shifts and (1) administrative day per week.
- Lead morning team huddles.
- Provide cross-facility coverage for other Lead Clinical Registered Nurses.
- Order McKesson supplies and medications for their location.
- Maintain organization and standardization for their location.
- Complete monthly tasks for their office, including pharmacy keeper and EOC rounding.
- Assist in information gathering for safety tracking tools.
- Able to navigate and make changes as they occur.
- Assist in staff meetings at their location.
- Complete monthly rounds with Senior PM.
- Follow through with communication to all staff from leadership.
