We are seeking enthusiastic and committed educators to become part of our Clinical Nursing Faculty at Joyce University. The primary duties of the clinical faculty include executing the curriculum, guiding students, and adhering to the policies, procedures, goals, and objectives of the institution. The role may require flexibility to work at various clinical sites based on the nursing program's requirements. This is a part-time role, typically involving 1 or 2 shifts per academic term at designated clinical locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Timely and accurate reporting of student performance and attendance.
  • Demonstrate ongoing professional development through participation in professional organizations, continuing education, and educational research.
  • Engage in university events such as staff meetings, pinning ceremonies, and graduations.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement and professional development initiatives to enhance the educational experience.
  • Assist in gathering statistical data and other information as needed for accreditation and institutional requirements.
  • Employ instructional strategies that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Identify and address academic and behavioral challenges among students.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for curriculum enhancement.
  • Ensure the integrity of the curriculum offerings.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Licensure:

Must hold an unencumbered RN license in the State of Colorado.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in nursing is required; a Master's degree in nursing is preferred.

Experience:

2-3 years of nursing experience is required.

Preferred Teaching Experience:

2-3 years of teaching experience is preferred.

COMPENSATION:
