About the LVN Regular Hours Runner Position

We are seeking a skilled LVN to provide nursing care to hospice patients in private homes, skilled nursing facilities, board and cares, and assisted living facilities under the supervision of an RN.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with their individual needs and the Plan of Care.
  • Assist in obtaining the full assessment, following accurate orders, diagnosis, and projection of visits for all disciplines necessary to support each patient.
  • Document nursing interventions, including patient education, according to the Plan of Care.
  • Administer medications and effectively communicate with patients, families, and physicians.
  • Maintain patient rights and dignity, and assure the care of the dying patient, optimizing their comfort and dignity.
  • Triage calls when needed, and attend death visits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Current California LVN License.
  • At least one year of experience in hospice or home health.
  • Current CPR certification, California driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Great communication and organizational skills.
  • Prolonged or considerable walking or standing, able to lift, position, and/or transfer patients, and able to lift supplies and equipment.

  • Full-time position with regular hours.
  • $35.00 per hour.
