Medical Assistant Resident

The Lexington Medical Center is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant Resident to join our team. As a key member of the patient care team, you will provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a Provider.
This 8-week program is designed to help transition certified medical assistants into practice and permanent positions at one of our physician offices. Upon completion, participants will be competent in providing direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a Provider.
In this role, you will assist with appointment scheduling, maintain medical record documentation in the EPIC EHR system, and serve as a provider's scribe as needed. You will also perform various tasks, including patient intake, documentation, vaccine and medication administration, clerical, environmental, and organizational duties.
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and life insurance, flexible spending accounts, and a 403(b) match plan.
