Duties and Responsibilities- Execute HR initiatives that support Talent and Rewards, including onboarding, orientation for new hires, compensation assessments, records management, safety protocols, succession planning, employee relations, retention strategies, and compliance with AA/EEO regulations.
- Formulate solutions by gathering and analyzing data, and proposing actionable recommendations.
- Enhance performance for both managers and employees by diagnosing issues, evaluating potential solutions, and guiding managers through the implementation of chosen strategies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws by reviewing existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence, advising management on necessary actions, and assisting with regulatory audits.
- Create brand-consistent HR communications, including policies, procedures, and legal guidance.
- Oversee all administrative and operational HR functions, aligning strategic goals with management objectives, including conducting staff and management meetings.
- Commit to continuous learning by engaging in educational opportunities, reading professional literature, and participating in relevant organizations.
- Support the development and implementation of updates to personnel policies and procedures.
- Assist leadership in establishing goals and systems that propel the business forward.
- Address and resolve employee relations challenges.
- Ensure the accuracy of data within the HRIS for all supported groups.
- Utilize data and analytics effectively, applying a metrics-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exhibit strong listening skills to engage with employees at all organizational levels.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all employee and organizational information, driven by integrity.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational capabilities.
- Lead special projects as required.
- Bachelor's degree and over 7 years of experience in human resources.
- Experience in plant-level operations and employee relations is preferred.
- Strong presentation skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication abilities.
- Capability to provide and receive constructive feedback across all management levels; ability to influence senior leaders.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills; adept at multitasking and achieving competing objectives.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms; experience with Success Factors is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams and Office 365.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 25% domestically.
