About Our Client

Our client is a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) specializing in developing large-scale clean energy solutions, encompassing both generation and transmission assets. They possess expertise in financial structuring, engineering, construction management, and regulatory affairs, setting them apart as a comprehensive energy solutions provider.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the development of renewable energy projects from early to late stages, focusing on wind, solar, and storage initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Drive community engagement efforts.
  • Monitor transmission studies and adapt development strategies based on updates.
  • Collaborate on permitting with regulatory bodies to ensure timely project approvals.
  • Support negotiations for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to maximize project opportunities.
  • Coordinate with departments to ensure project activities are accurate and timely.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in development within the renewable energy industry.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficient in leading multifaceted projects from inception to completion in project management.
  • Effective stakeholder relationship-building through strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and permitting processes in renewable energy.
  • Strategic recommendations derived from excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities with project data.
  • Expertise in contract negotiation, vendor management, and budget oversight in project development.
  • Ability to excel independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Preparedness for occasional travel to conduct site visits, attend meetings, and engage with communities.
