Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing preliminary analysis on a variety of technical tasks.
  • Involved in assignments that continue to develop abilities in the area of specialty.
  • Makes independent decisions about assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Survey, design file, temp sheet, and temp sheet overall clean up.
  • Prepare basic calculations.
  • Schedule project deliverables.
  • Collect, organize, and evaluate data.
  • Organize and file project materials and references.
  • Analyze systems utilizing computer modeling.
  • Develop, evaluate, and design specifications and contract drawing.
  • Vehicle tracking, Utility flowlines, and Pipe conflicts.
  • Complete public plans - plan and profiles - water, storm, HCFCD outfall wastewater, left turn lane, traffic control plan, details.
  • Pavement design - understand geotechnical report, paving details.
  • Sidewalk design.
  • Public plan signatures: COH, AT&T, CPE.
  • TxDOT driveway permit.
  • FEMA floodplain information.
  • FIS profiles.
  • Sheet design: SWPPP, SWQMP, TCP, Dimension Control, Utility Plan, Drainage Area Map, Drainage Spreadsheet, Details Sheets.
  • Works closely with project and task team leaders.
  • Maintain regular and prompt attendance at Ward Getz and Associates PLLC.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Civil Engineering degree and 2+ years' experience.
  • Registered Texas E.I.T.
