  • Preliminary Analysis: Prepare preliminary analysis on various technical tasks, including survey, design file, and temporary sheet clean-up.
  • Technical Assignments: Be involved in assignments that continue to develop your abilities in your area of specialty.
  • Independent Decision Making: Make independent decisions about assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Project Deliverables: Schedule project deliverables and collect, organize, and evaluate data.
  • Project Materials: Organize and file project materials and references.
  • System Analysis: Analyze systems utilizing computer modeling.
  • Specifications and Contract Drawings: Develop, evaluate, and design specifications and contract drawings.
  • Public Plans: Complete public plans, including plan and profiles, water, storm, HCFCD outfall wastewater, left turn lane, traffic control plan, and details.
  • Pavement Design: Understand geotechnical reports and paving details.
  • Sidewalk Design: Design sidewalks.
  • Public Plan Signatures: Obtain public plan signatures from COH, AT&T, CPE, and TxDOT.
  • FEMA Floodplain Information: Obtain FEMA floodplain information.
  • FIS Profiles: Create FIS profiles.
  • Sheet Design: Design sheets, including SWPPP, SWQMP, TCP, Dimension Control, Utility Plan, Drainage Area Map, Drainage Spreadsheet, and Details Sheets.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with project and task team leaders.
  • Attendance: Maintain regular and prompt attendance at WGA Houston office.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Civil Engineering Degree: Hold a Civil Engineering degree.
  • Experience: Have 2+ years of experience.
  • Registered Texas E.I.T.: Be a Registered Texas E.I.T.
