Job Title: Project Developer Hybrid

EDF Renewables North America is a leading independent power producer and service provider with over 35 years of experience. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Developer Hybrid to join our development team.

Job Summary:

The Project Developer Hybrid will be responsible for driving all aspects of project development and business development for EDF Renewables. This includes leading the overall development process, coordinating resources, and managing a portfolio of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development process and coordinate resources for a portfolio of projects on behalf of EDF Renewables.
  • Work with internal and external teams to design and implement land acquisition campaigns, including identification of landowners and negotiation of contracts.
  • Coordinate real estate due diligence, review materials, and provide risk assessment for acquisition.
  • Manage the development of a portfolio of projects, including budgeting, finances, project timing, and risks assessment.
  • Obtain internal approvals to develop renewable energy projects, including drafting or facilitating investment memos and projections.
  • Oversight of local, state, and federal environmental permitting processes.
  • Provide perspective on market trends and policy research and analysis of energy technologies and markets.
  • Secure internal approval for pre-construction analyses required for local permits.
  • Cultivate and maintain internal and external relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate project success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Environmental Studies, or Engineering.
  • Demonstrated development or project management experience in the energy industry.
  • Course work that demonstrates strong analytic and quantitative skills.
  • 3 years of experience in project development, project management, permitting, or real estate.
  • Able to demonstrate experience dealing successfully with peers, subordinates, management, and unaffiliated third parties.
