Job Summary

Raines Co. is seeking a highly skilled General Manager to lead our hotel operations in the greater Dallas area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, and guest satisfaction, while maintaining the integrity of the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel staff
  • Assist the Regional Director of Operations in developing and communicating departmental strategies and goals
  • Ensure all staff is properly trained and equipped to carry out their job functions
  • Provide regular direction and oversight of hotel operations, including front office, revenue, and reservation functions, food and beverage departments, housekeeping and maintenance functions, security function, sales functions, and accounting and purchasing controls
  • Make recommendations for capital improvements to enhance the assets of the company and brand loyalty

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of progressive experience in hotels or related fields or a bachelor's degree and four years of related experience or an associate's degree and 6 years of related experience required
  • Prior General Manager experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major preferred
  • Experience with brand's PMS and Point of Sales systems preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar computer applications
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation and the ability to run off-property errands with minimal notice
  • Must speak English fluently
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Mathematical skills include basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances
