- Demonstrate accountability for own self-development and stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
- Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
- Ability to work well with internal and external customers, including patients and healthcare professionals.
- Fine motor skills and ability to wear a surgical mask and gloves.
- Auditory skills to hear individuals whose speech may be muffled.
- CPR certification and Certified Surgical Technologist certification from the NBSTSA within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and in difficult situations, including exposure to hazardous materials and life-threatening diseases.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including holidays and take call as needed.
