Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technologist to assist in providing quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and be responsible for establishing and maintaining a sterile field, a safe patient care environment, and appropriate supplies/equipment as required for the operative procedure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a sterile field and a safe patient care environment
  • Prepare and deliver sterile supplies and instruments to the surgical field
  • Assist in opening sterile supplies and instruments
  • Participate in the education and training of other team members
  • Contribute to the development of the team's action plan for improvement in patient satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Certification as a Surgical Technician
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to independently perform scrub duties
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with established time constraints
  • Ability to work designated shifts, including weekends and holidays
