Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Grinder Setup and Operations Specialist to join our team at Custom Tool & Grinding. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC grinders to produce high-quality tools and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setup and Operation: Set up and operate CNC grinders to produce high-quality tools and components, adhering to standardized work practices and safe work procedures.
  • Pre-Operation Activities: Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and control the quality of produced tools and components, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of high-quality tools and components, minimizing waste and downtime.
  • Maintenance and Housekeeping: Perform regular maintenance and housekeeping tasks to ensure a tidy and professional work environment.
Requirements
  • CNC Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC grinding operations, with a strong understanding of CNC machine setup and operation.
  • Design and Programming: Experience in designing and programming CNC tool grinders, with a strong understanding of cutting tool design and programming.
  • Setup and Operation: Ability to set up and operate CNC grinders, including programming and troubleshooting.
  • Quality Inspection: Experience in quality inspection, including the use of inspection equipment and tools.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
