Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a Registered Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing nutritional care to residents in long-term care facilities, ensuring that their dietary needs are met and their health is optimized.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and direct the nutritional care of residents in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Work effectively with the Dining Services Department Head to ensure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis.
  • Train employees on proper techniques and procedures as needed.
  • Provide coverage in multiple buildings as required by the company.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
  • Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and licensed in Nutrition/Dietetics as required by the applicable state.
  • Ability to relate information concerning the resident's condition.
  • Maintains a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.
  • Dependable, with experience working in facilities utilizing quantity food production methods.
  • Ability to maintain records and complete reports as required.
  • Written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to interact positively with residents, clients, and other personnel.
Additional Requirements
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 10 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 10 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Must live in the service area.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $45.00 per hour, with pay varying based on objective factors such as location, years of experience, staffing needs, and other business reasons.
