Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide nutrition education and clinical services to our patients, upholding the highest standards of care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop personalized nutrition care plans
  • Provide education and counseling on healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Develop and implement nutrition programs and services to promote health and wellness
  • Conduct community outreach and education to promote healthy lifestyles
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food/Nutrition or related field
  • Master's degree in related field and/or certification in nutrition or dietetics
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification within 6 months of hire
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in nutrition education and counseling
  • Knowledge of mainframe and personal computing systems
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership Environment
