Job Summary:

As a Dietitian II at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nutrition education and clinical services to our members. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement nutrition care plans that meet the unique needs of our members, including follow-up and referrals to other healthcare services as needed.
  • Provide individual and group nutrition education to members, including classes and workshops on healthy eating and nutrition.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure that members receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to inform quality improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement grants and proposals for health and nutrition programs.
  • Provide in-service education to department staff and other healthcare professionals on nutrition-related topics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food/Nutrition or related field.
  • Masters degree in related field and/or certification in nutrition or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) Level II required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in individual, small group, and large group teaching/training.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification.
