Dietitian II

As a Dietitian II at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nutrition education and clinical services to our members. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our patients.

• Develop and implement nutrition care plans that meet the unique needs of our members, including follow-up and referrals to other healthcare providers as needed.
• Provide individual and group nutrition education sessions, including classes and workshops, to promote healthy eating habits and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
• Conduct nutrition assessments and screenings to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in nutrition and health education.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and organizations to promote health and wellness initiatives.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

• Bachelor's degree in Food/Nutrition or related field.
• Master's degree in related field and/or certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian (CNSD).
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) Level II required.

• Previous experience in nutrition education and clinical services.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition and health education principles and practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
