We are seeking an experienced Director of Solutions Architecture to join our team at Raft. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable software platforms, collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders, and responding to Government Contracting solicitations (RFIs/RFPs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable software platforms with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and containerization.
  • Author technical volumes to support Government Contracting (Gov Con), preferably DoD, solicitation responses (e.g. Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP)).
  • Align technical solutions with business goals, ensuring that platform architectures support and enhance long-term goals.
  • Address complex technical challenges with strong analytical ability.
  • Communicate complex solutions in plain English both written and verbally across a diverse stakeholder audience (technical, non-technical).
  • Lead cross-functional teams with excellent leadership skills and guide product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on the latest technological advancements with an in-depth understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends in software platforms and cloud computing.
Requirements
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Experience in the DoD around software platform modernization (highly preferred).
  • Deeply technical background and eagerness to constantly learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
