The Infrastructure Support Engineer plays a crucial role in delivering expert assistance to users by addressing issues related to various software applications and workstations. This position involves user-focused support, encompassing hardware and software provisioning, installation, and repair services. Collaborating closely with network and cybersecurity specialists, this engineer will tackle incidents and challenges while coordinating service requests with the appropriate teams across different locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the incident and problem resolution workflow
  • Conduct Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting and resolution
  • Diagnose and repair end-user devices
  • Install and troubleshoot software applications
  • Re-image hardware as necessary
  • Manage shared file access maintenance
  • Maintain local registration authority functions
  • Provide updates and tracking on IT projects, ASIs, incidents, and changes affecting customers, ensuring proper routing and escalation of incidents to the relevant support teams
  • Maintain the knowledge management database
Required Qualifications:
  • DoDD M IAT II certification required - Security + Certification
  • High School Diploma with 11 years of experience, or a BS with 2 years of experience, or an MS with 1 year of experience
  • General experience should include a background in information systems development, network operations, or application performance in a client/server setting
  • Specialized experience should encompass managing help desks in a multi-user environment, a thorough understanding of PC operating systems, and a working knowledge of network and email operations, along with prior supervision of help desk staff
Clearance Requirements:
  • Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI Clearance is mandatory.
