Kalimotxo is a Spanish dining establishment and cocktail bar under the Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the welcoming presence that enhances our guests' experiences by adding your unique touch.
  • Ensure guests enjoy a delightful experience from arrival to departure.
  • Create a warm, inviting, and relaxed environment that transforms first-time visitors into regular patrons.
  • Take orders, deliver food, prepare espresso drinks, and serve cocktails and other beverages as requested by guests.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain smooth operations in the restaurant and bar.
  • Keep the environment tidy and enjoyable for both guests and staff.
  • Restock, replenish, and prepare the coffee bar and side work areas as necessary.
  • Communicate openly with management regarding customer feedback.
  • Work alongside hotel staff to ensure overnight guests are aware of the bar/restaurant offerings and promotions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and provide directions.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy in job performance.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to think clearly, remain calm, and resolve issues with sound judgment.
  • Thoroughly follow directions.
  • Understand and anticipate guests' service needs.
  • Work collaboratively with team members.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and relevant hotel data.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Server in a high-quality full-service or fast-casual environment.

ARRIVE Austin operates on a restaurant-wide tip pool model. Compensation range includes base wage plus average tips.
