Critical Care Paramedic

We are seeking experienced and skilled Paramedics to join our team at AMR. As a Critical Care Paramedic, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for Paramedics who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and are looking for a challenging and rewarding career. As a Critical Care Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing advanced life support to patients in emergency situations.
You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. Your expertise and professionalism will be essential in making critical decisions that can mean the difference between life and death.
Responsibilities- Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
- Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
- Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
- Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
- Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
- Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
To be successful as a Critical Care Paramedic at AMR, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ca Drivers' License
- Ambulance Driver's License from DMV
- Medical Examiner's Card from DMV
- State of California Paramedic License
- CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY, Health Care Provider. Handwritten cards are not acceptable)
- ACLS Card (American Heart Association ONLY, Handwritten cards are not acceptable)
- Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy (proof required if conditional employment is made)
- ICS courses, please refer to link
As a Critical Care Paramedic at AMR, you will enjoy a comprehensive range of benefits, including:

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $56,000 to $106,160 based on a 12-hr shift and average 20 or 49 hours per week.
