About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Hannah's Children's Homes. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and families in our foster care and adoption programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crisis Intervention certification is required (can be acquired within 90 days of employment).
  • Training in trauma-focused and/or trauma-informed psychotherapy is highly preferred.
  • You will conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments on individuals, develop person-centered treatment plans, and coordinate care with other staff members and community agencies.
  • Providing psychoeducation to individuals, families, and groups is also an essential part of this role.
  • You will assist individuals and families in understanding and choosing options for mental health treatment, initiate and conduct individual and group therapy sessions, and perform specialized tasks such as involuntary hospitalization procedures and Tarasoff assessments.
  • Preparing reports and composing correspondence is another critical aspect of this position.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, healthcare, or a related field is mandatory; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Current state licensure is also required.
  • Previous professional experience in social work is necessary.
  • You must have reliable transportation available to travel to meet with clients.
  • Self-directed and able to work independently without supervision is crucial.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish and English are highly valued.
Estimated Salary

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
