About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Administration Support Assistant to join our team at Bank of the Sierra. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Regional Branch Administrators with various activities, including audits, record-keeping, and compliance monitoring. They will also be involved in performing callbacks on business and trust accounts, reviewing legal documentation, and identifying common issues and communicating them to Regional Branch Administrators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit monthly branch certifications and report scores/findings
  • Perform callbacks on all business & trust accounts and sampling of personal accounts in each branch.
  • Review of legal documentation for Business and Trust accounts
  • Requests branch work as assigned to perform mini audits.
  • Identifies and communicates common/repeated branch issues/questions and reports them to Regional Branch Administrators on a regular basis.
  • Review security cameras to ensure dual control and opening procedures are being followed.
  • Review and resolve assigned complaints.
  • Some travel will be required to complete branch audits as assigned.
  • Review and tracking of operational losses (fraud, operating losses, teller losses) & disciplinary follow-up
  • Data compiling and reporting to produce monthly reporting dashboards

Skill and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have an AA degree and two to four years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. You must also possess excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

This role operates in a professional office environment and requires frequent use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year.
