Position Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Property Leasing Specialists to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, sales-oriented, and skilled in building relationships, marketing, and organizing community events. This role requires availability on most Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews with prospective residents to assess their needs and qualifications.
  • Guide prospects through model and vacant apartments, discussing room sizes, available amenities, and lease terms.
  • Ensure consistent follow-up with potential residents.
  • Process applications in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Handle lease renewals as needed.
  • Coordinate move-ins and complete all necessary lease documentation.
  • Inspect apartments prior to move-in to ensure readiness.
  • Engage with new residents post-move-in to ensure satisfaction.
  • Regularly inspect property conditions and arrange for maintenance as required.
  • Plan and execute resident events to foster community engagement.
  • Address resident requests and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives, including market surveys and resident communications.
  • Weekend availability may be necessary.
  • Adhere to all company policies, including safety and Fair Housing regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Preferred: One year of experience in a leasing role.
  • Up to one year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with virtual and in-person community tours is a plus.
  • Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, Entrata) is preferred.
  • Strong marketing skills with the ability to implement property marketing strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong customer service abilities.
  • A valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required, depending on the property.

Physical and Environmental Requirements
The physical demands of this position include:
  • Frequent walking, standing, and sitting; occasional climbing, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly; occasional lifting of heavier items.
  • Strong manual dexterity and sensory skills, including good eyesight and hearing.
  • Work in various conditions, both indoors and outdoors, with a moderate noise level.
  • Possible exposure to various environmental factors.
