Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Enrollment Support Specialist to join our team at the Tennessee Board of Regents. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service to students, parents, and families, ensuring efficient assistance with processing, inquiries, and issue resolution related to cashier transactions, admissions, business office, and financial aid.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide students, parents, and families with efficient assistance with processing, inquiries, and issue resolution related to cashier transactions, admissions, business office, and financial aid.
  • Assist students and parents/families with admission questions and issues, including but not limited to admissions applications, high school/college transcripts, immunizations, transcript requests, proof of citizenship, state residency, test scores, and other general account information.
  • Process admissions documentation in the Banner system, including but not limited to high school transcripts, immunization health history forms, proof of citizenship documentation, ACT/SAT test scores.
  • Assist students and parents/families with Business Office questions and issues, including but not limited to tuition/fees, past due balances, parking tickets, vehicle registration, parking passes, fee waivers/discounts, reimbursement/balance of financial aid checks, verification for Financial Aid, TN Promise, TN Reconnect, Hope scholarship, FAFSA application process, FSA ID, tax forms, state/federal grants, scholarships.
  • Process payments, including but not limited to tuition/fees, past due balances, parking tickets, replacement parking passes, etc.
  • Assist with Food Pantry, campus enrollment and retention events as assigned.
  • Assist administrative staff for recruiting, TN promise, and adult initiatives with projects as needed.
  • Coordinate scanning activities in Banner system, and disposal of received documents.
  • Assist and serve as a liaison for students and parents who require assistance with navigating the financial aid process or financial aid programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of confidentiality statutes and policies as they apply to students, parents, families, FERPA, and financial aid programs.
  • Knowledge and ongoing understanding of federal, state, and institutional regulations regarding admissions, records, business office, and financial aid.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Strong computer skills, including but not limited to ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system(s) (Banner), word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, database, and internet.
