We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Carilion Clinic, where innovation and collaboration drive exceptional patient care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop personalized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure informed decision-making and successful treatment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulatory requirements to maintain expertise and provide exceptional care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Experience in inpatient settings preferred, but not required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or eligibility to complete a clinical fellowship year (CFY).
  • Licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • AHA BLS-certified within six months of employment.
