Job Description

The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP and MES solutions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Vulnerability management and patching
  • Provisioning and decommissioning of SAP & MES servers
  • Managing technical refresh of servers
  • Coordinating change management and reviewing network and server infrastructure
  • Managing system monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and experience working with global support teams. Familiarity with SAP VE-CAMs and Apriso is a plus.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 3 years of experience supporting SAP as a basis administrator or MES as a system engineer
  • Proven knowledge of SAP ECC/S4 or MES Ecosystem, including SAP application, UNIX, Windows Server, IIS administration, HANA, and MSSQL server administration
  • 3 years of experience addressing infrastructure performance management, including UNIX, Windows Server, IIS administration, application, and database performance management
  • 2 years of experience supporting vulnerability management, including Windows and SAP patching experience
  • 3 years of experience using and administering Windows Server (2016/2019) Operating Systems
  • 2 years of experience with deploying and maintaining certificate authority (CA) services, including issuing SSL certificates, and firewall management
  • 2 years of experience with Ansible and other automation tools
  • 3 years of experience performing root cause analysis for problem resolution in Windows environments
Desired Skills

The following skills are highly desirable:

  • 1 year of experience leading change management meetings
  • Ability to integrate automation technologies such as PowerShell and Ansible into daily Active Directory use
  • 2 years of hands-on experience in configuring Microsoft Cluster Server (MSCS Cluster)
