Job Summary:

MV Transportation is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to assist the Operations Manager and General Manager with the daily management of service delivery, ensuring compliance with contracting agency policies and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly oversee the Dispatch area and bus control office, ensuring efficient use of dispatch software and in-vehicle technology.
  • Assist with the oversight of operators, reviewing logs and paperwork to ensure daily operating performance and safety on all routes.
  • Supervise drivers and window dispatch staff, monitoring daily operations and reviewing staff schedules and manifests for efficiency and operational performance.
  • Create reports and compile documentation related to operational issues, enforcing procedures and policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and CBA.
  • Respond to client requests and interface with other division personnel to ensure achievement of division goals.

Requirements:

  • At least two years' experience in a recent and relevant supervisory position.
  • Experience in a Paratransit capacity, with experience in scheduling, personnel management, policy enforcement, and training.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Ability to work independently and possess strong written and verbal skills.
  • Knowledge of contractual obligations and company policy.
