About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer/Specialist to join our team at Parsons Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for independently performing all aspects of field engineering assignments, including the development of plans, schedules, contracts, procedures, and construction methods and systems for assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex field engineering assignments, including the development and execution of technical aspects of construction projects.
  • Maintain quality assurance to ensure that installations are in accordance with plans, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Supervise construction engineering work and provide technical expertise for one or more construction engineering disciplines.
  • Collaborate with construction management to eliminate hazards and ensure safe work practices.
  • Establish and maintain liaison with discipline design engineering staff.
  • Review and interpret discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure correct technical execution.
  • Provide resolution for technical engineering problems and coordinate application of solutions.
  • Develop discipline construction schedules and monitor progress.
  • Provide schedule and progress appraisal reports to the Construction Manager.
  • Monitor material procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness and quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in field construction, including experience in the construction of large civil/transportation projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes and industry practices.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages, and proven ability to perform in a lead capacity.
