DSD Support Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented DSD Support Associate to join our team. As a DSD Support Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our independent distributor partners (IDPs) through phone support, email, and data entry. You will process customer orders in a database management system, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our plants and transportation teams. Your goal will be to deliver outstanding care and customer experiences, fostering a culture of belonging and diversity within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver timely, thorough responses to all telephone and/or email inquiries from IDPs, sales managers, DSD operations personnel, and other stakeholders.
Process and support any DSD plant or IDP set up changes, ensuring seamless integration with our systems.
Initiate Plant Closes to ensure IDP route orders are processed to the Plant, including accelerations as needed.
Process Special IDP Orders in a Database system, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Audit transactions/set up daily through integrity reports, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
Process any IDOC errors, interface errors, open orders, and other issues, providing solutions and support to our customers.
Review and action on shared email boxes and Service Now daily, ensuring prompt resolution of customer inquiries.
Test, support, and implement any new systems and process changes, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
Document all work processes as required, maintaining a clear and transparent record of our procedures.
Provide support to IDPs regarding several areas, including order management, IDP Settlement, plant closes, documenting calls in our call tracking software, and forwarding issues to the appropriate department for resolution.
Ensure quality standards and compliance with policies and procedures are achieved when resolving IDP issues.
Draft and submit IDP communications as relates to Support, maintaining open and effective communication channels.
Assist with order processing errors, product planning, cycle count changes, nightly error reports for the warehouse locations, and other tasks as assigned.
Maintain relationships with all levels of cross-functional teams in sales, operations, IDPs, and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
Provide support to the plant teams on 'How to' and process questions in SAP, ensuring seamless integration with our systems.
Provide Holiday support and Saturday hours as needed to support our customers.
Perform other job-related projects, duties, and assignments as directed by management.
Requirements
Associate Degree or a minimum of 2 years of related experience required.
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to deliver exceptional care and experiences to our customers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, Digital workflow enterprise systems, and database management systems such as SAP.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
Physical ability to sit for long periods, with occasional lifting and movement of up to 25 pounds.

We offer a competitive salary range of $38,000 to $62,000, depending on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
