We are looking for a Client Support Representative to become a vital part of our Service Operations Team. At Volta, we are dedicated to promoting the widespread use of electric vehicles. Our award-winning charging stations offer valuable advertising opportunities for brands while providing convenient charging solutions for drivers. Strategically placed in locations frequented by consumers, Volta's charging stations are among the most utilized in the United States.

The Role at Volta Charging

The Client Support Representative plays a crucial role not only within Operations but across the entire organization. You will be tasked with delivering prompt and precise responses to our clients, acting as a liaison to other teams by accurately documenting customer challenges for further resolution. This position offers a unique opportunity to significantly influence a company that is redefining the future of transportation.

In your initial 90 days, you will:

  • Achieve a solid understanding of daily operations and the functionality of our charging stations.
  • Become proficient with the tools necessary for managing support inquiries and engaging with clients.
  • Build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, enabling effective information gathering and influence to meet company goals.
  • Establish a personal workflow that is both efficient and transparent.

After one year, you will have:

  • Mastered daily operations, handling high volumes of work with quality and efficiency.
  • Received high satisfaction ratings from both clients and peers.
  • Identified and implemented minor process improvements.
  • Developed expertise in specific areas of our operations.

What you bring to Volta Charging:

  • Experience in customer support roles that involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You convey information clearly and effectively while maintaining professionalism.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: You take pleasure in delighting and educating clients, valuing the insights gained from customer interactions.
  • Technical Aptitude: You enjoy investigating problems and finding solutions.
  • Cost Awareness: You consider financial implications and actively seek solutions that enhance profitability.
  • A willingness to travel, as field experience may be part of your training and development.
  • A capacity to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment where change is constant and high-quality standards are expected.
  • Proficient writing, spreadsheet, and computer skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to problem-solving.
  • Experience in process optimization is advantageous; you are passionate about improving workflows.
  • Knowledge of electric vehicle charging systems, electrical systems, and/or communication networks is a significant asset.
