LPN Leader Wanted for Retirement Community

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to lead our care team in a retirement community. As an LPN leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, collaborating with our interdisciplinary team, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Supervise and mentor LPNs and other care staff to ensure high-quality care and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
Requirements:
  • Current LPN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Minimum one year of experience as an LPN in a long-term care or senior care setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of nursing practices, policies, and procedures, with a focus on gerontological care.
