Job Summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems at commercial, industrial, and residential locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and repair electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, and control panels.
  • Use industry-standard tools and equipment to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and install wire and electrical cable systems.
  • Feed, pull, and terminate wire and cable within control centers, distribution boxes, and other electrical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and control circuits, and build control panels from drawings.
  • Prepare sketches and schematic diagrams showing the location of wiring and electrical systems.
  • Delegate tasks and assist with training other employees.
  • Communicate effectively with foremen and crew members.
  • Maintain workflow schedules to ensure all productivity objectives are met.
  • Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must hold a current Journeyman Wireman license (if required by the applicable state, city, or county).
  • Ability to install power systems, including lighting, fire protection, security, and data networks.
  • Ability to build and install control panels and provide maintenance to systems.
  • Experience using Electrical Single Line blueprints.
  • Experience finding and repairing faults in electrical apparatus and circuits.
  • Ability to verify compliance and functionality of installations.
  • Experience helping with the management of a project and crew.
  • Ability to manage material estimates.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and pre-planning abilities.
Working Environment

This position requires the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including cold, snow, rain, and heat. You will also be exposed to high noise levels, and may be required to work nights or weekends.
