Position Overview
Title: Maintenance Assistant
Location: Beverly, MA
Compensation: $18 per hour
Schedule: Part-time, 15 hours per week (Monday-Friday, ideally from 5am-8am or 4pm-7pm)
Key Responsibilities
The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for ensuring the upkeep and safety of our facilities. This includes cleaning tasks and performing timely, cost-effective maintenance repairs.
- Conducts general maintenance tasks
- Assists in moving furniture as required
- Replaces light bulbs as necessary
- Cleans restrooms, kitchens, and office spaces to maintain a tidy environment
- Sweeps and cleans floors as needed
- Provides assistance in cleaning home locations and supports maintenance efforts at other facilities when required
- Performs light plumbing duties, such as unclogging drains and repairing leaks
- Engages in painting tasks
- Completes other related duties as assigned
- Participates in required agency training sessions
- High School diploma or equivalent is necessary
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures is essential
- A strong commitment to supporting individuals is crucial
- Must possess a valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record
- Successful completion of background and reference checks is mandatory
