Position Overview:

The IT Support Specialist will deliver technical assistance to oversee, monitor, and sustain all IT infrastructures, emphasizing hardware management and application support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to all helpdesk inquiries, ensuring that user experiences related to IT challenges are addressed efficiently and effectively.
  • Document and allocate daily tasks within the helpdesk ticketing system, escalating issues to management and IT specialists when necessary.
  • Prioritize support requests to guarantee timely ticket resolutions and report performance metrics.
  • Engage in clear communication with all personnel, colleagues, and external partners to resolve end-user support challenges.
  • Execute full system imaging, reimaging, and hardware deployment tasks.
  • Maintain accurate tracking of IT assets and inventory.
  • Assist in the management of networking devices, including switches, routers, and cabling.
  • Update and maintain the Knowledge Base while exceeding service delivery standards.
  • Monitor and support connectivity for CRN infrastructure, including VPN, wireless, and internet access.
  • Support applications such as MS Office 365, Electronic Health Record Systems (EHR), Adobe Acrobat, Interactive Intelligence, and Genesys Cloud at a user level.
  • Oversee all aspects of network security, including patch management and antivirus solutions.
  • Contribute to the upkeep of corporate Internet and Intranet applications.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to revise or develop new company procedures and policy updates.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide support for local and remote users across all business operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education and Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT helpdesk support or a related field is required.
  • A+, N+, Security+ certifications or equivalent are preferred.
  • An Associate's Degree in Information Systems or a related discipline is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation range for this position is $28.12—$46.87 USD, depending on the candidate's relevant education and experience.

Working Conditions:

Employees may be required to stand, walk, sit, and use their hands frequently. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be necessary. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employees must maintain a stable and secure private home internet connection with specified minimum speeds.
