Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the processing of incoming vendor invoices.
  • Access electronic documents and invoicing through various vendor platforms.
  • Respond to daily accounts payable inquiries and conduct research, including clarifying interdepartmental questions regarding policies and documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to promptly resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing, payment, and accounting of all trade payables, adhering to company policies and coding requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, addressing any invoice-related issues or errors.
  • Work closely with the finance team to support a seamless month-end closing process.
  • Uphold internal controls and procedures for the accounts payable function to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Review time and expense submissions.
  • Assist in the annual preparation and distribution of 1099 tax forms.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • Associate's degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and research abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills.
