Job Overview

Position: Associate Controller

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000

As a key player in our financial team, you will contribute to the fiscal health of our corporate accounts, ensuring accurate reporting, insightful analysis, and efficient data management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily banking operations and transaction accuracy.
  • Monitor and manage profit and loss statements as well as balance sheet activities.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of the general ledger and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Address and resolve any accounting discrepancies and reconciliation challenges.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including fiscal close and audit documentation.
  • Generate daily financial reports, including deposits, credit card transactions, and cash flow.
  • Implement and manage inventory and cost control protocols.
  • Administer payroll processes.
  • Carry out additional tasks and special projects as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least two years of experience in revenue control and cash management.
  • Prior accounting experience in the foodservice or retail sectors is essential; experience in foodservice operations is advantageous.
  • Proficient in preparing monthly financial statements, key performance reports, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analyses.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex processes and analyze financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Outstanding analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to integrity and ethical standards.
