Children's Health (Dallas) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in Neurology to join our team. As a key member of our ACS Specialty Unit, you will utilize the nursing process to deliver developmentally appropriate care to patients and families. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care, promoting comfort and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate patient care, utilizing clinical judgment and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Ensure patient care meets standards of safety, effectiveness, patient rights, and guest relations.
  • Oversee care delivered by the patient care team, coordinating the plan of care.
  • Provide education and facilitate learning for patients, families, and the patient care team, demonstrating sensitivity to diversity.
  • Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement an appropriate plan of care, promoting optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • BSN required
  • TX RN License required
  • AHA BLS required
  • Minimum one year RN experience required
  • Preferred experience: pediatric neuro/pulm
