Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to enhance our HR functions within the aerospace manufacturing sector. This role will involve implementing HR strategies that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will be proactive in managing various HR responsibilities, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance, while fostering a positive workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions within the aerospace manufacturing field.
- Oversee the complete recruitment process, from job postings to candidate onboarding.
- Act as a resource for employee concerns, ensuring fair application of company policies.
- Promote a positive work culture through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
- Support the performance management system, including setting objectives and conducting evaluations.
- Collaborate with department leaders to address performance challenges and implement improvement plans.
- Identify training needs and assist in organizing training programs to enhance employee skills.
- Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs to maintain competitiveness in the aerospace sector.
- Conduct salary surveys and make recommendations for talent retention.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry standards.
- Maintain employee records in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of HR policies that align with company culture.
- Provide HR insights to management for informed decision-making.
- Participate in initiatives that promote workplace diversity and inclusion.
- Help organize employee engagement activities to enhance morale and productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in aerospace manufacturing or a similar industry.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of California HR best practices and labor regulations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
